About Dr. Abbott

Dr. Abbott received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with honors from The University of Texas at Austin. She then earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Baylor University following completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Central Texas Veterans Health Care System. She has experience providing therapy and psychological assessments to diverse populations in a wide range of settings including university and community outpatient clinics, military behavioral health, VA hospitals, and telehealth.

Dr. Abbott is a Licensed Psychologist (LP) with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TX License #38835 under Amanda Proctor, Psy.D., expires 9/30/2025).
